PLACE YOUR BETS: Vinnie Vain's 5 Minute Challenge

The Torquay faithful in Wurdi Baierr Stadium will have the opportunity to see a huge pool of talent from across the country and the world step into the ring at WrestleWave 2. One name in particular from across the Black-Allan Line in New South Wales is Sydney mainstay Vinnie Vain, who will be making his OPW debut on September 27th.

The Bad Guy has thrown down the gauntlet early, confident in the fact that nobody can defeat him in five minutes or less. It wouldn’t take long before Geelong native Ben Barnett answered the challenge. Now the contest is signed, it will come with the caveat that if Barnett fails to defeat Vain in five minutes or less, he will not be afforded a contract with Oceania Pro Wrestling.

This contest will feature two men who are eager to show their talent to the OPW audience, and who they decide to back will surely give that competitor the edge against their opponent. The question remains, will they go all in on The Gambler, Ben Barnett, or will they play it safe and back the veteran, Vinnie Vain.

Ben Barnett appeared at the first WrestleWave event in Torquay back in January, facing off against King of Colac Champion, Sketch. As previously mentioned, Vinnie Vain will be making his Oceania Pro Wrestling debut, after over a decade wrestling in the Sydney area.
