Tag Team Match for the OPW Tag Team Championships

Professional wrestling fans in the state of Victoria are spoiled for choice when it comes to events taking place no matter the time of the year, with no shortage of incredible talent to stack the card of whatever show they have chosen to attend. That statement is especially true for tag team wrestling, with an endless list of competitive units working hard to plant their flag at the top of the mountain.

Two of those teams will have the opportunity to put their abilities on display in Torquay, with the tag team titles on the line. The defending champions JXT and FOX are established veterans, each with a mind for wrestling that very few possess. They will be making their second defence of the OPW Tag Team Championships, their first being at the inaugural WrestleWave event in January against Magnus Kolbeck and Mitch Connors.

The challenging team will be fan favourites, The Physicals, comprised of “The Fantastic” Jimmy Castle and “Thunderbolt” Johnny Jetts. Graduates of the Relentless School of Pro Wrestling, and the current Mayhem Pro Tag Team Champions in their third reign. The pair will be making their official Oceania Pro Wrestling debut on the main card.

This contest will be a clash of personalities, the grit and experience of the champions colliding with the thundering energy and velocity of the challenging team. The Physicals will need all the help they can get from the Torquay faithful if they are to knock off the defending champions.
