Water Rapids vs Blacklisted vs Strong 94
The Water Rapids are quickly building up an impressive resume as they continue their championship reign, and the trail of defeated opponents features some genuinely big names in Australian wrestling.
The Dropouts.

But they aren't the only team out there with championship gold.
The veteran team of JXT and FOX – Blacklisted – arrives with both a well-deserved reputation and the OPW Tag Team Championship. Both men have long histories with MCW too – JXT has even held both the Intercommonwealth and Tag Team Championships before, but neither have been seen in an MCW ring since the #1 Contender Battle Royal for the I-C title at Endgame 2024. Almost a year and a half later, they’re back to add more gold to their collection. Skilled, dominant and incredibly well-versed, Blacklisted are a team you should never take lightly.
But with both the MCW and OPW belts on the line, this is also a perfect opportunity for the Water Rapids to really prove that they are at the very top of the pile, and get some more championship titles around their waists.
Of course, the big risk for both teams is that they can lose their Tag Team Championship without being pinned due to the inclusion of Strong 94 from Queensland, themselves the current PWL Tag Team Champions, and thanks to their Showcase application, they have a change to immediately change the game.
Part of the wider stable of the same name, JJ Avery and Renegade have built a fearsome reputation, and they’ve been eagerly awaiting to make a major impact in Melbourne. What better way to do that, than by taking the MCW or the OPW Tag Team belts back up north?
No matter what happens, it's going to have ramifications across more than one promotion!
