The OPW Women's Tag Team Champs arrive at the Thornbury Theatre to face a dangerous new threat, in a match that's a mixture of the familiar and the new.

We haven't seen Eugenie in MCW since she lost the MCW Women's Championship at Vendetta last year, but at Sunday Showcase she walks back into the ring a champion, alongside her tag partner Billie Mac, as they prepare to defend the OPW Women's Tag Team Championship. 

For Eugenie, returning to the Thornbury Theatre will feel like unfinished business, while for Billie it'll be an exciting first appearance in the MCW ring. But both women will need to put their emotions to one side as they look to defeat a team no-one could have seen coming.

There's no-one quite like Aysha in Australian wrestling - always ruthless in the ring, with a level of confidence that few can match, no-one should be surprised that she's caught the attention of some huge names recently. A win here could elevate her to the next step of her career. 

Standing alongside her is the rising young up-and-comer Melissa Averillo; selected through her Showcase recruitment application, she's had some bangers of matches in Sydney's PWA, and now she comes to Melbourne for the first time to show the MCW Faithful what they've been missing.

This combination of confident experience and youthful hunger is going to be a hard one for the champs to deal with.
